Hi, I’m Becky, and I’m a nationally recognised journalist, copywriter, and therapeutic coach based in Somerset, UK. I have more than twenty years of journalism experience and am commissioned by publications such as Cosmopolitan, Country Living Magazine, Reader’s Digest, OK! Magazine, The Independent, and The Daily Telegraph.

I am also an accredited therapeutic coach and emotional regulation practitioner working from my Somerset-based studio. I offer private therapeutic writing sessions, combined with holistic therapies to help calm the body and mind.

Many people find writing and art to be calming and relaxing. As national journalist and accredited therapeutic coach, I provide a safe and empathetic space to express your creativity and emotions.

The benefits of therapeutic writing
How do sessions work?
I work primarily with adults to provide a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space to foster creativity and aid relaxation. Many of my clients have chronic fatigue, anxiety, and stress, and enjoy the luxury of a calm and relaxing moment just for themselves.
As an experienced journalist, I offer clients the opportunity to get creative with their words, alongside calming wellbeing techniques. These include journaling, writing prompts, monthly seasonal themes, and creative writing activities. We will also use therapeutic art techniques such as drawing emotions as colours, creating a collage, mindful drawing, and so much more. Sessions can include a complimentary holistic Reiki treatment for further grounding and relaxational benefits if desired.
Nothing is set in stone, and you lead the way. You do not need to be a writer or an artist; the focus is on achieving complete relaxation, not the work produced.
